This was the Plano Center for Arts. It was a response to the Plano Art
Centre. It was in the former Collin County Republican Headquarters building. Our
friend John Ledbetter rented out the space a few months before it was to be demolished.
He had an exhibition of his work along with other artists and we held two free
shows there. We had free food and coffee and invited six other bands who usually
didn't get to play out because of the nature of the club circuit in North Texas.
These shows stand out as highlights of our time playing in the band so far. This
once historical part of downtown Plano is now taken by overpriced apartments.
That's progress. The top left and bottom right pictures are an improvised paint
job we gave the place shortly before it was torn down. John currently lives in
California as a screenwriter and as lead singer of his group, Oduhpus Exx.
